Mobile app: install

Install our app on your iPhone or Android phone, allow microphone and notifications, and keep it updated. That helps prevent missed or silent calls. New here? Start with the Quick-start guide.

Short on time? Let your AI assistant help. Connect it to us and just ask, like "Which calls did I miss today?" or "Who needs a call back?". See the MCP guide. Prefer to check things yourself? Here's how.

Install the app

iPhone

  1. Open the download page on your iPhone, or search for us in the App Store.
  2. Install the app.
  3. Log in with the same email you use on the web.

Android

  1. Open the download page on your Android phone, or search for us in Google Play.
  2. Install the app.
  3. Log in with the same email you use on the web.

Keep it updated. Many call problems are already fixed in a newer version. If something feels off, update the app first.

Permissions and phone settings

The app needs a few permissions to ring and to carry your voice, so allow them when it asks. Said no by mistake? You can change it in your phone's settings.

  • Microphone: without it, the other person can't hear you.
    • iPhone: Settings > Phone.inc > Microphone.
    • Android: Settings > Apps > Phone.inc > Permissions > Microphone.
  • Notifications: without them, incoming calls may not show on your screen.
    • iPhone: Settings > Notifications > Phone.inc.
    • Android: Settings > Apps > Phone.inc > Notifications.
  • Battery and background (Android): some phones pause apps in the background to save battery. Set the app's battery usage to "Unrestricted" (the wording varies by phone maker), so calls can reach you even when the app is closed.
  • Do Not Disturb: your phone's Do Not Disturb or Focus mode can silence incoming calls. Add Phone.inc as an allowed app, or turn the mode off when you need to take calls.

We also have our own Do Not Disturb, so you can pause business calls without changing your phone's settings.

Staying logged in

You only get calls in the app while you're logged in. After an update, open the app once and check you're still logged in. If you've been logged out, just log in again with the same email you use on the web.
